Eligibility Criteria of PWD Assam Recruitment Vacancy Details - 2024

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024.

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below. SC: 5 years ST: 5 years OBC/ MOBC: 3 years PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any technical institute recognized by the Government. The Diploma must be a Regular course. Diploma courses obtained through Distance Mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted.

Local Language Proficiency: Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1 (one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/Bengali/Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Residentship: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.
