Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing/General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from Recognized Institution by Indian Nursing Council. Applicant should be Registered under Meghalaya Nursing Council.
Pay Scale: Level-8
Age: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2024.
2. Post Name: Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)
No. of post: 78 [UR: 12, K&J: 31, Garo: 31 & OST/SC: 04]
Qualification: Auxiliary Nurse & Midwifery Certificate from Institution Recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Registered under Meghalaya Nursing Council.
Pay Scale: Level-5
Age: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2024.
Other Details of DHS Meghalaya Recruitment 2024
Exam Fee: Candidates are required to register, apply, and upload the necessary information before submitting their applications online, after which the applicants are to pay the application fees of Rs. 500 (five hundred) only and Rs. 250 (two hundred and fifty) for SC/ST candidates only.
Syllabus:- Medical & Surgical Nursing: 20 marks.
- Obstetrical & Gynecological Nursing: 20 marks.
- Child Health Nursing: 20 marks.
- Mental Health Nursing: 20 marks.
- Community Health Nursing: 20 marks.
Mode of Exam: The written examination is a pen-and-paper-based test to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable OMR sheet using a black ballpoint pen. Moreover, tampering with the OMR sheet at any stage will lead to the declaration of candidates as unsuccessful.
Pattern of the Exam:
- The Maximum marks for the Written Examination will be 100 marks.
- Questions will be in Multiple Choice Questions.
- Each question will carry 1 mark.
- There will be NO NEGATIVE MARKING for attempt of questions.
Medium of the Question Papers: The Written Examination will be in English medium.
Centres: There will be two separate Centres for writing the Examination, i.e. at Shillong and Tura.
Method of Selection: The final selection list against vacancies notified in this advertisement shall be made by the Meghalaya Medical Services Recruitment Board. The process of selection shall be made based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination.
Physical Verification:
- Valid Registration Certificate under Meghalaya Nursing Council.
- Birth Certificate or SSLC Admit Card.
- Scheduled Tribe Certificate/Scheduled Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of Government of Meghalaya.
- Degree Certificate for B.Sc. Nursing/Diploma Certificate for GNM/ANM Candidates or higher qualifications from Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- Mark Sheet(s) last passed from Nursing Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- Proof of identity: Epic/Aadhar Card/Pan Card/Driving License/Govt. ID.
- Sports Certificates for sports persons as per O.M No. PER(AR)150/88/534, Dated 7/8/2017.
